About Adam

I’m a Level 4 qualified Personal Trainer based at Manchester Aquatics Centre in Manchester City Centre. I came into personal training after many years of being active myself, with a background in dance, sport and strength training. I understand that everyone comes to the gym from a different starting point, and I’m passionate about helping people build confidence as well as improving their fitness. I specialise in working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as beginners and anyone who may feel nervous, uncomfortable or unsure about getting started in the gym. My areas of focus include strength and muscle building, weight loss, body transformation, general fitness, confidence and mental wellbeing. I offer both in-person personal training in Manchester and online coaching.

How I train

My approach is supportive, friendly and completely judgement-free. I don’t believe personal training should be about shouting at someone or making them feel uncomfortable. I take the time to understand you, your goals, your experience and what you actually enjoy. From there, we can build training that feels achievable and works around your lifestyle. Whether you’re stepping into a gym for the first time or you’ve been training for years, sessions are adapted to your ability and goals. I’ll challenge you when appropriate, but I also want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning along the way. For me, progress isn’t just about how you look. It’s about becoming stronger, healthier, more confident and building habits that you can actually maintain.
